![]() ![]() It was so horribly inconsistent the last time I shot some of it through my Buckmark, you could literally feel the difference between every single round. I have the better part of a box of Golden Bullets around that I don't really feel like using. It's OK ammo, and I'd probably buy more if I could find some cheaper than Winchester or Blazer, but I just always seem to have bad luck with Remington ammo.Golden Bullet. The aluminum case is just too light to be ejected properly with the stock spring. Apparently it is a known issue associated with the CZ75 platform and can be fixed with an extra strength extractor or ejector spring. Only problem I've seen with any of the ammo is some ejection problems with aluminum blazer in a CZ75. My Beretta 92 eats everything just the same as well. ![]() If I can ever scrape together a few bucks for the ammo budget I might pick up a few boxes. I did notice that the Wal-Mart in the college town I just moved back to is carrying Blazer Brass again for about the same price as what I paid for the aluminum Blazer. ![]() I recently found a little over a case of Blazer aluminum cheaper than the WWB, so I'll be shooting that for a while. For the longest time Winchester white box from Wal-Mart was the cheapest. Only difference I've seen is that the Blazer aluminum seems to shoot cleaner than the other loads. I've shot thousands of rounds of Winchester, hundreds or rounds of aluminum Blazer, maybe a hundred rounds of Blazer Brass, and maybe 100 rounds of UMC through my XD9s. If the Winchester is alot better than the Blazer Brass, than it's worth the few cents more a round, but if they are about equal, than there's no reason to not save the few extra cents per round. My question is to those that have shot all the various bulk ammo's out there, What's the best ammo for cost/accuracy? I havent shot any of the Remington UMC yet, but I do know its available in 250 & 500 round boxes. My groups wern't all that impressive with the Blazer Brass, but at this point Im pretty sure it's not the ammo, but rather myself getting use to the pistol, and the round. I went to the range and shot all the Blazer Brass, but ran out of time to shoot any of the Winchester. I went to walmart to pick up some ammo (The Local Fun Shot is REALLY high), and found Some Blazer Brass 9mm 115gr FMJ's for $8.97/50 Rounds, and Winchester USA Target/Range 115gr FMJ's for $19.97/100 Rounds. I recently purchased an XD9, which I picked up this afternoon. ![]()
